We ordered the Wan Luan pork hock and chicken with three spices to share. The pork hock is chewy and goes well with the side of garlic sauce. Eating the pork hock by itself without the sauce is a it too plain. The chicken was very flavourful and I enjoyed it better than the pork hock. However, there was not much chicken pieces in the dish. It was covered in a lot of ginger. Overall, the food is decent and I would come back to try more items.

Minus the 1 star because I was only acknowledged when I sat myself down after waiting 5 mins when it wasn't busy. Other than that food was cheap and good, I very much enjoyed the chicken nuggets.
Note: cash only! -

Quick meal at Corner 23! We had the chicken nugget rice meal, a favourite of my husbands which he's had at many places and by far says the Taiwanese nuggets here were the best! I ordered the curry chicken and it was good but a little sweet for my liking. I like when they serve the rice separate from the curry just in case you don't finish it so make sure you ask them to do that for you ;)

This place has very authentic Taiwanese food! I was delighted with the oyster omelet here, the flavour was amazing and for a great value.
If I lived in Vancouver I'd come here all the time! -

This is a cute little tucked away place at the corner of Cambie and 23rd. You can reserve, decent service, nice And warm and easily accessible and lots of free parking all around.
The bubble tea is great. I love their unsweetened green tea milk tea w pearls. It was one of the best I had! Unfortunately the warm yogurt bbt wasn't a hit w us not was the vanilla one. Don't recommend those.
Don't order the noodles because it looks like my kindergarten cousin put it together and was a bit lacklustre. I wouldn't get those since they barely had any meat with them. Poor choice.
The porc hock and deep fried squid from their classical section was great and so was the red meat from the appetizer/snack section. I loved their chicken nuggets. The cod sizzling plate, porc hock w three spices and Shanghai buns were not that yummy so I wouldn't order it again because it was okay, lacking some meat and a bit too thick of the skin, respectively.
The rest wasn't that great. I would just come back for those items as snacks that were decently portioned and the bbt.
Enjoy!
